Photinia Fraseri “Compacta”

DESCRIPTION:

Similar to Photinia Red Robin, but with smaller leaves, Photinia Fraseri Compacta is a perfectly good alternative to its “bigger sister”. It has oval leaves that become of an intense red in Spring, when the new vegetation grows, together with the white and slightly perfumed flowers; as Summer begins, leaves later become green little by little. Another feature that has made this variety so popular over the years is its size: as opposed to what one might think from the name, Photinia Fraseri Compacta can actually reach 2m in height, which makes it perfect for middle-sized hedges, like those of balconies and terraces.

WEATHER RESISTANCE

Very resistant and able to flower both under full exposure to sunlight and in shade.
