Mimosa Semperflorens

DESCRIPTION:

The Mimosa Semperflorens is a perennial plant of the Genus Acacia, native to South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and New Zeland. It can reach up to 6-10 m in height and is mainly used as an ornamental plant, due to its abundant flowering and to the colour of its bark.

USES AND FUN FACTS:

It won the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society.

WEATHER RESISTANCE:

This tree prefers full exposure to sunlight and is not very resistant to cold.
