“Grooved” Citrus Limon
This is an antique variety that was cultivated in Tuscany; it has a marked vertical growth habit, its fruits have some sort of unique grooves that distinguish this variety from all the other known cultivars.
USES AND FUN FACTS
The “Grooved” Citrus Limon tree has fruits similar to those of a classic Lemon tree, and their uses are those typical of the citrus trees.
Its leaves are oval and deep green. Due to its Tuscan tradition, it is more resistant to cold temperatures than other citrus trees, but not lower than -3 °C, beyond which we recommend to shelter it under a nonwoven fabric and place it near an outside wall to reduce the impact of cold winds.
