This Bitter Orange variety is suitable for pot growing, thanks to its moderate growth habit; it has big deep green leaves and its branches are less spiny than the other cultivars of the Aurantium family. This tree has an abundant sweet-scented flowering, can bloom several times a year and for most of the year you will see the Grooved Bitter Orange with flowers and fruits showing a wonderful contrast of colours: the orange of the fruits and the deep green of the leaves. This characteristic makes it an excellent ornamental plant. Its orange fruits have a medium-small size and vertical grooves on their wrinkled peel.
