Finger Lime or Lemon Caviar (Microcitrus Australasica)
A citrus with Australian origins, it is called “Australian finger” because it produces long fruits with a thin greenish peel.
USES AND FUN FACTS
This is a shrub with leaves smaller than any other citrus tree, but very sweet-scented. Its fruits taste like lemon with a scent of grapefruit. Their pulp is made of little pearls that resemble caviar, which are very useful when cooking, especially with fish-based dishes.
