This tree can adapt to different climatic and pedological conditions. Its fruit-bearing branches are erect and the terminal bud can even grow into a flower. It has a good rooting ability. It has an early starting age of fructification. It is a self-incompatible cultivar. Flowering is late and often, in the olive-blossom, there is an excessive number of flowers. It has a medium rate of abortion of the ovary, while fruit set is sometimes limited. Productivity is medium and biennial. Ripening is early. Drupes have a high resistance to detachment and are sensitive to olive fruit fly’s attacks. This cultivar is sensitive to poor water conditions, but is particularly resistant to cold. In the literature, a singular resistance to bird’s eye spot disease and scab has been reported.
