Carrubaro Lemon (Citrus Limon)
DESCRIPTION
The main feature of the Carrubaro Lemon is the colour of its vegetation, darker than that of other Citrus trees, of its reddish-purplish buds and of its flowers, which have a purplish colour; its fruits grow in bunches and are smaller than those of the Tuscan Lemon or the Lunario Lemon.
USES AND FUN FACTS
The Carrubaro Lemon is a vigorous citrus that can adapt to pot growing; it is a very productive tree, it has an irregular growth habit and its foliage is deep green. It can adapt very well to espalier growing and has a beautiful ornamental effect. Its fruits have a very tender pulp, rich in a high-quality juice that is sweeter and more delicate than that of other Citrus family trees.
